Yes folks that's right you read that correctly and yes every nerd is excited about the first AI sex toy. Her name is Roxxxy and you can have her all to yourself for $7,000. Now I don't even know where to start with the moral and ethical problems with a robot that responds to you sexually. I mean what happened to the idea from The Jetsons of having Robot maids in the far off year of 2000?? Why would the first AI on the market be used for sex. I mean don't we have a better use for a robot then to get those who can't get laid...well laid. I don't know I just feel if we had the technology to create a robot that can respond to humans personally we could use it for a more practical form of therapy rather then just copping out and just marketing it for sex because they know that would make the fastest easiest money. Porn is already a very profitable industry? I don't know let me ask you guys do you think this robot has a better use?? Perhaps a peace keeping robot or robotic maid like i mentioned earlier I don't know let me know what you think? I've included a picture of Roxxy and quite frankly I don't think she's my type!

ReplyDeleteThis is pretty much the movie "Weird Science" in a nutshell. Sex is probably the most animalistic and sought-after pleasure for just about anyone. Sure, we could be using the AI for seniors. We could be using it to help lonely individuals with depression. But we're not, there are more pressing matters at hand.
